Miroslav Terzić’s 3 Weeks After has been awarded the Europa Cinemas Label for Best European Film at the 60th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, where the film had its world premiere in the Main Competition.
The award, presented by a jury of Europa Cinemas representatives, recognizes the film for its powerful portrayal of contemporary adolescence, its strong ensemble cast and its sensitive and authentic approach to the perspectives of young people.
The Europa Cinemas Label provides the film with additional support and promotion across the Europa Cinemas network, helping it reach audiences and cinemas throughout Europe.
3 Weeks After follows a group of high-school students who, three weeks after the tragic loss of a classmate, embark on a school trip. Recent suicide of a classmate begins to expose the fractures, loyalties and secrets holding them together.
