Film Bad Blood From January 17 On Netflix

After great theatrical success in Serbia and abroad, the film “Bad Blood – Sin of Ancestors”, directed by Milutin Petrović and produced by This and That Productions, continues its life on the popular platform for films and series NETFLIX. This film, wrriten by Voja Nanović, and based on the works of Bora Stanković, is the first film in the Serbian language to be purchased by NETFLIX. The film will be available in Central and Eastern Europe, in Turkey as well, in the next two years.

“The contract we signed (This and That Productions and NETFLIX), thanks to our partners Videomite, for streaming the first domestic film in Serbian language on this popular platform, is a kind of recognition of Serbian film production, and it also proves that quality films have their audience everywhere, “said Snežana van Hauvelingen on behalf of This and That Productions, adding:” I am sure that in this way we have opened the door to other domestic films and series that seek their place and audience on platforms such as NETFLIX. ” Doing this project was a great responsibility, because we wanted to adapt for the screen the characters written by the famous Bora Stanković more than a century ago, and shaped by the great Voja Nanović into film heroes almost half a century ago. Having this in mind I consider this contract for streaming on NETFLIX not only as an opportunity to promote the film, but also a chance to promote our culture and that’s why I am extremely happy, “said Snežana on behalf of This and That production. She expressed gratitude to the Serbian Film Center and the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia for financial support for the film.

The film “Bad Blood – Sin of Ancestors” is viewed by more than 100,000 people in cinemas. It won many film awards – Audience Award at the 28th European Film Festival Palić, First prize at the 45th Film Screenplay Festival in Vrnjačka Banja, Award for the Best Acting Achievement at the Danube Film Fest for whole cast and a Special Award for Outstanding Acting – Feđa Štukan for the role Kolj at the 56th Filmski susreti in Niš. The fantastic cast is led by Dragan Bjelogrlić, Andjela Jovanović, Katarina Radivojević, Fedja Štukan, Tim Sejfi, Nela Mihailović, Marko Grabež, Aleksandar Ristoski, Nedim Nezirović, Dejan Bućin, Teodora Dragićević, Milica Gojković, Vaja Dujović and Nikola Vujović.
