Darkling

Synopsis

In the mountainous outback of Kosovo, in a household surrounded by a dense forest, lives eleven-year-old MILICA with her mother and grandfather. When night falls, the family barricades themselves in the house, frightened by their isolation and the violence that appears to surround them. Is the horror real, or is it just their imagination, as the local peacekeeping forces would have them believe? With every passing night, they experience more and more ominous signs, and their terror only increases.
