Synopsis
An intimate portrait of Davor, a young coal miner working with his father in southern Serbia. Struggling to carve out his own destiny, while still honoring his family’s expectations, Davor dreams of a new life when the time is right. This film explores the metaphor of working in the dark, it provides us with a frame through which to observe life in Serbia today, the disappearance of hope and belief in changes, and the resignation with which people are approaching the new reality.
